Episode 2: Boosting Your Digital Presence with Tasha Gratham
August 14, 2024

Steven Schwartz:
Hello, and welcome again to the Concierge Medical Marketing podcast. I’m your host, Steven Schwartz, and it’s my pleasure to have you along on this discussion today. Today, we’re speaking with Tasha Grantham from Exact Marketing. Tasha, thank you for being with us today.
Tasha Grantham:
Thank you for having me, Steve. Excited to be here.
Steven Schwartz:
Wonderful. Tasha and I have known each other for several months now, and her business offers amazing things for concierge medical practices to get their name, face, and message out to the right audience. Today, we want to discuss three things that concierge medical practices can do right now to expand their online presence.
Tasha, could you give us a quick background on yourself and how you got into this line of work?
Tasha Grantham:
Absolutely. I used to be a high school geometry teacher. After COVID hit, I decided to pivot to my original degree in business administration and marketing. I started submitting resumes and transitioned into digital advertising. I’ve been with Exact Marketing for about three and a half years now. We sell all things digital.
Steven Schwartz:
It’s funny you mention that. I was a math major in college and planned to be a math teacher. One thing led to another, and I ended up in tech, starting my first website design company. Math definitely helps with strategy and budgets, making the numbers work. It’s a good background for this field.
Tasha Grantham:
Absolutely. I use math every day in my work.
Steven Schwartz:
Great. Let’s jump into the content. You mentioned three must-do’s or recommendations for concierge medical practices.
Tasha Grantham:
Absolutely. First, make sure to utilize search engine marketing on Google and Bing. Connect with those bottom-of-the-funnel people really looking for your services by appearing at the top of search results. As the saying goes, if you want to hide a dead body, put it on page two of Google search results—nobody looks there.
Second, I recommend retargeting. Use Google Tag Manager (GTM) to track website traffic. It allows you to retarget visitors who didn’t convert, building brand confidence and staying top of mind.
Steven Schwartz:
For example, in Indian River County, Florida, if you search for kayaks and leave your computer, you might see kayak ads later. It’s like digital breadcrumbs tracking interest.
Tasha Grantham:
Exactly. Pixels and cookies track online behavior, allowing advertisers like us to target relevant ads. Google initially planned to go cookie-less but reversed it, realizing the importance of tailored online experiences.
Steven Schwartz:
Yes, sometimes ads don’t match the audience, but cookies generally tailor ads to user interests.
Tasha Grantham:
Finally, programmatic advertising is a powerful tool. It includes connected TV, native display, and streaming audio advertising. We can track if someone sees an ad, engages, and even visits a clinic. For practices going to clients, we create lookalike audiences, using AI to find similar customers. This makes your advertising more effective.
Steven Schwartz:
Absolutely. Programmatic advertising, retargeting, and lookalike audiences offer wonderful opportunities to gain more patients.
Tasha Grantham:
And don’t overlook social platforms. Many young mothers spend time there, making it a good place to target families with children, depending on your practice.
Steven Schwartz:
Tasha, this has been incredibly informative. If someone wants to reach out to you for more information or questions, how can they contact you?
Tasha Grantham:
You can email me at tgrantham@exactmarketing.digital or call me at (601) 479-0036.

You can call me via cell at (601) 479-0036 if you’d like to talk directly or if you’re interested in exploring how these strategies can be specifically applied to your practice. I’m always happy to help and discuss further how we can assist in expanding your digital presence.
